Development of our Radio Direction Finder is almost complete.
Examples of its use :- At Home The Cloud sensor and computer are located in the observatory at the bottom of the garden and the receiver is located in the bedroom with a light or radio plugged in. The Cloud sensor is configured to Alert at 3:30am, only if the sky is clear. Then if the sky is clear you will be woken up at 3:30am, however if the sky is cloudy you will be left to have an undisturbed nights sleep. At The University The Cloud sensor and computer are located in the observatory on the roof of the university and the receiver module is located in the office several floors down with a small buzzer plugged in. The Cloud sensor is configured to alert only if the sky is not clear. If while the the telescope has been left automatically taking photos, the clouds start to roll in, the buzzer sounds to warn that it is time to close the observatory dome. These are only two examples of the many uses of this accessory.
